Hey. I know I haven’t posted in a while. Work + RL concerns have eaten a great deal of my time lately. As you can see from my character app on WordPress, I’ve progressed a bit in ICC on both toons, although I’m nowhere near the progression of some guilds. What I wanna talk about, since there’s a bunch of new gear since Icecrown came out, is how to get ready for ICC with a minimum of waiting on drops in raids. I’ll talk about heroic 5 man drops, craftables, BoE’s, and emblem gear. Note: I will not be covering frost gear here, because if you are gathering a lot of these for the extremely high-priced gear, you must be in ICC already.

Slimmer pickings here… Greatness is still awesome, but here’s some other options:

Awesome – but I have to ask… were you checking my huntard’s profile as an inspiration for this post? :p He’s a… work in progress.

First off thanks for the guide. My only question is why you did not list rowan’s rifle of silver bullets. Its pretty cheap on my realm (1k) at the moment, and my maths gave it bis pre icc raiding.

anyway thanks again for the guide.

I didn’t think about Rowans, but I have a few problems with it…

Yes, it may be great on the spreadsheets, but it’s itemized weird, and I don’t want hunters to spend upwards of the 2-3k or more that it costs on my server for a weapon that brings them into “bad” habits when it comes to choosing gear.

If you can get it for real cheap, that’s fine. My spreadsheet shows it about even with some of the higher end options on there.
